Solar Arts Building, a hub for local music video productions

One common thread we share at Indeed Brewing Company is that we all have a passion for music. Our musical tastes span the gamut from local artists like Trampled By Turtles, Atmosphere, and Cloud Cult to national artists like the Black Keys, Jack White, and Phish. Music makes people come together and we can’t wait to start brewing and start blasting some tunes.

During the building’s past life prior to 2012, the Solar Arts Building was last home to an electrical transformer manufacturing company; now it will be home to a brewery and artist lofts. The building provided lots of character and ceiling height for on-location music video productions by a few local artists:

The Pines shot parts of their video: “Cry, Cry, Crow” on the second floor where there will be artist lofts. This video was produced by Daniel Cummings / Picture Machine Productions.

Brother Ali shot his video “Not a Day Goes By” in what is now the production area with our brewhouse and fermentation vessels (though, you really can’t tell because it's all black). This video was produced by Daniel Cummings and Ryan Thompson.

Now, Now band shot their video “Thread” in the old boiler room. This video was produced by Daniel Cummings.
