Assistant Brewer

Indeed Brewing Company is seeking a reliable and hard working individual to fill the role of Assistant Brewer at our Northeast Minneapolis brewery. Our Assistant Brewers are integral members of our wort production and cellar team and also fulfill many other essential duties throughout our brewery.


  • Cellar work
    • Tank CIP
    • Dry-hopping
    • Fruit additions
  • Wort production assistance
    • Milling
    • Hop additions
    • Brewhouse CIP
    • Knock-out
  • Brewery maintenance and cleaning
  • Troubleshooting


  • Contribute to SOP Manual
  • Appearing at brewery events
  • Special projects


  • Commercial brewery experience
  • High school/GED or higher
  • Safety conscious
  • Able to meet physical demands (see below)


The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk: climb; use hands to finger, handle, or feel: reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. Specific abilities in this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
