Sales Relief Representative

The Sales Relief Representative will report to the Twin Cities Sales Manager. This hourly position will assist the Sales Team with taking orders, merchandising, building relationships, Off-Premise tastings, and representing Indeed at both Off and On-Premise events and promotions.

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Growing Indeed’s accounts base in coordination with Sales Account Managers and the Sales Manager
  • Maintaining and developing customer relationships
  • Procuring weekly sales orders
  • Ensuring proper date coding, and placement of beer at the retailer
  • Prospecting and securing new business by determining focus areas within the current and future distribution zones.
  • Re-connecting with Inactive/Non-Buying Indeed accounts
  • Sampling and tasting at events as needed at both On- and Off-Premise retailers and Fests
  • Educating accounts on brand, while utilizing brewery and taproom tours for training
  • Maintaining consistent contact with Sales Account Managers, and spending time in those markets interacting with customers
  • Merchandising at both On and Off-Premise retailers

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of local craft beer market, consumers, and retailers
  • High aptitude for learning, a self-starter, and engaging
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Ability to lift, load, unload and move beer weighing up to 165 pounds
  • Ability to multitask, self-start, and think and act quickly when something needs to be done
  • Proven reliability and consistent, strong work ethic
  • Strong desire to grow professionally with the company
  • Strong organization and time management
  • Prior experience selling craft beer, in a wholesale or on/off-sale capacity
  • Reliable vehicle, excellent driving record, and Personal Liability auto insurance
  • Evening and weekend work availability
  • Knowledge of Twin Cities roads
