The Pilot Brewery & Taproom
Say hello to our pilot brewery and taproom in Brew City! We’re
bridging the border battle by taking a piece of our home in Northeast
Minneapolis and bringing it to the Walker’s Point neighborhood in
Milwaukee.
Join us for a cold one at our pilot brewery and taproom, where you’ll
find the Indeed beers you know and love, plus lots of new styles you
can only find here.
We have a selection of local snacks, including Cedar Teeth Pizza, Milwaukee Pretzel Company, Firesticks, and more. Guests are welcome to bring in food from other places and eat at our taproom.
The UpTop Rooftop
Located on the 5th floor of 507 South 2nd Street
Opening May 11, the UpTop rooftop is located across the street on the 5th floor of the Eagleknit building at 507 South 2nd Street. Enjoy incredible views of downtown Milwaukee and the Hoan Bridge from UpTop Thursdays-Sundays. Get directions here.
Dog
Friendly(ish)
While we are dog lovers, dogs are not allowed inside the taproom (with the exception of service animals), but are welcome on the outdoor parklet as well as inside the taprooms for Dog Days on Mondays.

We pride ourselves in offering a family-friendly environment. However, all minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian after 8pm.

We Can
Every Tuesday, 100% of taproom net proceeds are donated to a local nonprofit that is chosen by an Indeed employee.

Can I reserve a table?
We do not reserve tables. Seating is on a first-come, first-saved basis in the taproom and on the patio. If you would like information on our private event spaces, please email eventsmilw@indeedbrewing.com.

Can my group and I stop by on a party bus?
Please email taproom.milwaukee@indeedbrewing.com with any special requests and we will see if we can accommodate your group.

Can you donate something to my event?
While we would love to contribute to every worthy cause, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate every request. The majority of our charitable efforts are focused on our Indeed We Can program. We are dedicated to supporting our local community, so we do donate to causes outside of Indeed We Can on a limited, discretionary basis.

Can I bring in outside food and beverages?
You’re welcome to bring in your own food, cake, cupcakes, or other treats, but please be aware that we don’t carry any extra plates, napkins, or utensils. We don’t allow candles, and we ask that you please be considerate and clean up after yourselves when your celebration wraps up.

Can my pet join me in the taproom?
Furry friends are allowed on our patio, just not in the taproom with the exception of service dogs and on Mondays for Dog Days. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome to hang with you outside, and we’ll even bring out a water dish to keep them happy and hydrated!

Can I bring my kid in the taproom and for events?
Tiny humans are welcome. We pride ourselves in offering a family-friendly environment. However, all minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian after 8pm.

Do you have gluten-free beers?
Boon Hard Kombucha and Hoopla Hop Water are our gluten-free options. While the liquid is gluten-free, it is produced in the same place where we make beer.

Are your beers vegan?
Yes, most of our beers are vegan friendly, except for those that contain honey. We never use any fish-derived fining agents or any other animal products in our beer.

Is the taproom handicap accessible?
Yes, the taproom and bathrooms are handicap accessible.

What happens if I forget to close my tab?
No problem. We don’t hold credit cards, and an automatic 20% gratuity will be added to the total if it’s not closed by the end of the night.

Do you have free Wi-Fi?
Free Wi-Fi is available. You'll find the password on your beer menu or ask your bartender.
